Terms of Service

Effective: January 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any services provided by Southside Credit Union ("we," "us," or "our"), including but not limited to online banking, mobile banking, and digital payment services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be a member in good standing of Southside Credit Union
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your username, password, and PIN
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or use
  • Ensuring all information you provide is accurate and up to date
  • Reviewing your account statements regularly

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to:

  • Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right
  • Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activities
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with the normal operation of our services
  • Impersonate another person or entity

5. Electronic Communications

By using our services, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, including account notifications, statements, disclosures, and other information required by law. You may withdraw this consent by contacting us, but doing so may limit your ability to use certain services.

6. Fees and Charges

Certain services may be subject to fees as disclosed in our Fee Schedule. We will provide advance notice of any fee changes as required by law. You authorize us to deduct applicable fees from your account.

7. Transactions

All transactions are subject to our verification and approval procedures. We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse or reverse any transaction
  • Place holds on deposited funds as permitted by law
  • Request additional verification for certain transactions
  • Limit transaction amounts as disclosed in your account agreement

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Southside Credit Union shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of our services.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law. You may opt out of arbitration by written notice within 30 days of opening your account.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal law.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes as required by law. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
